Sandburg’s Grafton Shoots Final-Round 80 at National Tourney

Carl Sandburg College sophomore Brady Grafton (Orion, Ill./Orion) closed out the NJCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championship with a final-round 80 on Friday at Swan Lake Resort.
Playing at nationals for the second straight year, Grafton matched the 8-over-par he posted during Thursday’s third round — his best of the week — and finished the 72-hole tournament with a total of 332. He shot 1 under over his final five holes Friday, including a birdie on the par-5 15th.
Grafton’s appearance marked the seventh straight year and 11th time in the last 12 years the Chargers have sent a team or individual to the national tournament.
